John Obi Mikel has admitted that a move away from Chelsea is possible.
The Nigeria international has the wealth of playing experience, making over 250 appearances for Chelsea in the past seven years. Mikel also has 51 international caps to his name and is currently on extended leave following his national team duties at the Confederations Cup.
Mikel has been a regular in Chelsea's midfield in recent seasons and appeared in 22 Premier League games in each of the last two campaigns.
The defensive midfielder has the experience of playing under Jose Mourinho, but is not guaranteed a starting place.
Mourinho is expected to bring new faces to the team and the return of his favourite Michael Essien puts Mikel's Chelsea future in doubt. Even though there are four years remaining on his contract, he isn't sure about anything next season.
Mikel was quoted by Sky Sports as saying: "I have a four-year contract with Chelsea, but you know, in football you can never guess, one day you are here, the next day you might leave."
Galatasaray have shown genuine interest in Mikel's services. He was urged to join the Turkish giants by his former team mate Didier Drogba and is keen to be playing regularly.
