Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is prepared to sell Ivorian flop Gervinho this summer as he looks to make room for some big name signings, according to Sports Direct News.
Fenerbache and Galatasaray are both interested in the forward - who has scored nine goals in 45 appearances for Arsenal - and it is understood the player would be open to a move to one of the Turkish giants.
It is expected that Gervinho will be allowed to leave for around £8million which will see Arsenal hit with a £3million loss on the player, although the funds will certainly come in handy during their pursuit of Real Madrid target Gonzalo Higuain.
A source told Sports Direct News: "Gervinho would be very unlikely to make the club's 25-strong squad and it now appears the manager is ready to let him go."
Juventus were linked with a move for Higuain before they opted to sign Carlos Tevez from Manchester City instead, which has paved the way for the Gunners to land the Argentine striker.
With a host of attacking talent already on display at the North London club, Gervinho is set to be the man that is sacrificed as Wenger aims to mount a serious title challenge next season.
