Titus Bramble has started training at West Ham United, according to Sky Sports.
Bramble is a free agent after being released by Sunderland at the end of the season.
He made 51 appearances scoring one goal for the Wearside club, however the English defender was not offered a new deal after openly criticising current boss Paolo Di Canio.
Bramble has bags of Premier League experience, after spells at Ipswich, when they were in the top flight, Sunderland, Wigan and Newcastle.
Bramble was an important part of the Wigan squad, who escaped relegation in the 2009/10 season under Roberto Martinez.
Besiktas are said to be interested in the defender, but for now he will look to improve his fitness at the Hammers.
With a great deal of experience and available on a free transfer, the 31-year-old will hope to sign for a club in the near future - it's uncertain if West Ham are looking at a potential deal for the ex-Sunderland man.
