Newcastle defender Mathieu Debuchy has quashed speculation linking him with a move back to France by insisting he is happy at Newcastle, according to the Chronicle.
The French international, who arrived at Tyneside from Lille for an undisclosed fee in January, has been linked with Paris St Germain and Monaco this summer but the full-back has pledged his future to Newcastle.
"I don't know about the rumours saying I have been contacted by Paris or Monaco," he told the Chronicle.
"I feel good in Newcastle. I want to stay In England. I love the Premier League."
Debuchy admitted he initially found the transition to England difficult but now feels at home at the Tyneside club.
"I had to learn a new language as I did not speak English," added Debuchy.
"It was complicated, but right now it is better. I love England even if it is different."
The right-back will return to England over the next week after being given extended leave by the club after playing friendly fixtures in Brazil for France over the summer.
