Spanish attacking midfielder Isco has said that signing for Real Madrid is the pinnacle for any player.
The 21-year-old was presented at the Bernabeu today after completing his transfer from Malaga, and he was full of praise for his new club in his first press conference.
"First of all, I want to thank the efforts of the president [Florentino Perez], my family, and love of all the fans," the Spain U21 star said at his presentation.
"For a player there is nothing greater than being at Real Madrid; it is the ultimate. I hope to enjoy it a lot here, and delight everyone, winning many titles for Real Madrid."
Isco has developed a reputation as one of the finest players out of a talented group of Spanish youngsters coming through currently.
And he further highlighted his obvious talents at the recent European U21 Championships, where he stood out for a victorious Spanish side.
He will wear the number 23 shirt at Real Madrid – the same shirt that David Beckham donned whilst playing for the Spanish giants.
