Eli Manning celebrates birth of baby girl

Eli Manning welcomed another member to his family this NFL off-season following the birth of a second daughter, Lucy Thomas, on June 17.

The New York Giants quarterback and his wife of five years Abby McGrew's news was confirmed by the NFL franchise's official Twitter account in a statement posted yesterday.

"We welcome another Manning to the @Giants Family, Eli and Abby's second daughter, Lucy Thomas born June 17, 2013," read the statement.

With two-year-old Ava Frances already part of the Manning family clan, Eli will now have to get used to being completely outnumbered by females on a three-to-one basis.

He'll probably welcome the opportunity to get back into football action by the time the Giants' training camp comes around later this month.

Manning wed his college sweetheart, Abby, on the beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in 2008. And, ever since that day the two-time Super Bowl champion has been building a family in New Jersey.

Congratulations Eli & Abby!
