Just two weeks before the Money in The Bank pay-per-view, the build up on Raw, this past week, continued as John Cena took on Alberto Del Rio.

Raw began with Daniel Bryan cutting a promo about how he is going to win in two weeks time and how much he wants to be WWE Champion like the greats of Bruno Sanmartino, Steve Austin and The Rock, only for Sheamus to interrupt and remind him how he beat him in eight seconds the last time he attempted a title.

Then it was The Viper, Randy Orton's turn to come out and tell everyone it's been two years since he won a title and he's 'hungry' for it again.

Bryan's tag team partner Kane then came out to tell them that it's every man for himself, and Christian then decided that he would tell everyone he was the most successful ladder match participant, and said he was the best which meant CM Punk had to come out, the only guy missing really was RVD who doesn't return until the pay per view but this was the predictable promo you would expect a fortnight from a pay per view.

Then Randy Orton RKO'd Kane and after a stare-down ensued before they all exited the ring quietly.

After Dean Ambrose was pinned Friday on SmackDown, The Shield were back in action and were not in the best of moods, they faced the men who got the better of them two days ago in a redemption rematch.

But after The Uso's cleared the ring, Christian looked to be going for the Killswitch but Seth Rawlins go involved hanging Christian up on the top rope ready for The United States Champion to pick up the scraps.

In his first match since Payback, former World Champion Dolph Ziggler went one-on-one with Joner Mahal, one third of 3MB. Predictably Ziggler got the win off the Zig-Zag, and 3MB tried to attack him after, only for him to escape the ring.

After what happened earlier in the night, Kane and Randy Orton faced off with special guest referee Daniel Bryan, Bryan called the match down the middle until Randy Orton disagreed with a decision and shoved him, so Bryan disqualified Orton.

Kane forced the restart, Randy set up for the RKO only for Daniel to get in his way and allow Kane to kick him in the face and get the quick pin.

Fandango was set for in ring action for the first time since his concussion, going toe-to-toe with Sheamus, but yet again Fandango decided to leave part way through and was counted out.

With his opponent at MITB Chris Jericho on commentary Ryback faced off against The Miz, Ryback threw evrything at Miz but Miz worked the injured knee of Ryback and he asked the referee to stop the match because he was in to much pain. Jericho then hit the Codebreaker on Ryback - he now takes the momentum into next week.

Mark Henry then cut a promo about his career, being a two-time Olympian etc...Good promo but over done.

CM Punk and Cutis Axel were in tag team action against The Prime Time Players, you knew that the ego's of Axel and Punk couldn't allow them to work as a tag team, Axel tried to win the match himself without tagging Punk in but eventually couldn;t get past O'neil and tagged Punk in, once in Punk hit the GTS on Darren Young for the win.

Alicia Fox returned after moths of not being seen on Raw to boost Kaitlyn's momentum against AJKaitlyn predictably got the win.

AJ then came out and showed fat doctored pictures of Kaitlyn, an amusing but unwarranted segment, before we went backstage and Stephanie told Vickie she didn't like how she handled the AJ/Kaitlyn rivalry and she would be evaluated next week on Raw.

Cody Rhodes faced off against Antonio Cesaro in what looks like a way of building some rivalry for SmackDown's Money in the Bank ladder match, a very quick match after ceraro hit the neutralizer for the win.

Raw then finally announce that The Wyatt family will debut next week.

The main event of Champion vs Champion pitted Cena vs Del Rio, predictably Ziggler and Henry distract their pay-per-view opponents but Ziggler's distraction forced Del Rio to walk into an attitude adjustment from Cena for the win.

Raw ended with Henry grabbing Cena's title and trying to bait him into a fight but Cena was having none of it and so Henry left the ring smiling.
