“It will be awesome competing again and being able to try out my new list of dives,” the 18-year-old told GiveMeSport.com.
After the world championships his attention will turn towards the Commonwealth Games, which take place in Glasgow in 2014.
Laugher said: “After the World Championship’s is the Commonwealth Games and I’m hoping to get my dives up to as good a level as possible and get a medals!”
And whilst many footballers are complaining about having to go back into their pre-season schedule at the minute, Laugher had no complaints about his training in the build-up to the competition, especially as it took place in the warmth!
”He joked: “The weather is lovely. Always nice to get a brilliant killer tan!
