FC Gomel are up to third in the Belarusian Premier League following a 3-1 victory away at Torpedo Zhodino on Saturday.

The game was wrapped up before the interval, with all four goals scored in the first-half - the pick of the bunch coming from Alexander Karnitsky, who scored a long-range effort from all of 70-yards.

The Belgian midfielder reacted quickest after FC Gomel were awarded a free-kick by the referee, deep inside their own half.

Karnitsky spotted the Torpedo goalkeeper off his goal-line, and fired a pinpoint shot over the stranded stopper and into the net to make it 3-1.
