Jack Wilshere set for stardom in 2013/14
With a full season ahead of him - Jack Wilshere can thrive for Arsenal in 2013/14
Injury problems have seen Jack Wilshere's progress disrupted but, now they seem to finally be behind him, next season could be the campaign he really kicks on.
The midfielder's right leg has seen numerous problems after initially sustaining a stress fracture to his right ankle in July 2011.
Problems caused by the original fracture saw Wilshere miss the entire 2011/12 campaign and the beginning of the 2012/13 season, which was a massive blow for the young English midfielder and also for Arsenal.
Since his return to the first team against QPR in October of last year, Wilshere exceeded expectations and quickly became the Gunners' main talisman during difficult parts of the season.
Another set back against Tottenham at White Hart Lane saw Wilshere miss most of the last few games of the season where he was used used sparingly from the bench.
His importance to the national team is also clear for all to see as he's perhaps the best young prospect the country has at the moment.
Wilshere will be looking to establish him self into the England side and make the trip to Brazil in 2014.
If he can make it through pre season and get a good run in the team, Wilshere could make the leap to a world class player.
Wilshere's return, along with potential new signings, could mean Arsenal will be back in the hunt for silverware in 2013/14.
