LA Galaxy have sent young trio Bryan Gaul, Kenney Walker and Charlie Rugg to train with Hammarby, and Bruce Arena admits all three could join the Swedish side either on loan or permanently.

Hammarby and the Galaxy are owned by the same company - Anschutz Entertainment Group - and the three players have undertaken an open-ended trial ahead of possible moves, should they impress.

The Swedish second division side are managed by former Galaxy defender Gregg Berhalter, and he may well be able to snap up the LA players after Arena claimed their was a chance.

"Sure," he said, as reported by MLS Soccer. "It's a club we know very well."

Gaul and Walker are regulars for the Galaxy's reserve side, but neither have been able to force themselves into Arena's first team, who recorded MLS Cup wins in the last two seasons.

Rugg, meanwhile, was Galaxy's first-round pick in this year's MLS SuperDraft from Boston College and has played three league games for the senior side.

He has, however, been handed the opportunity to further his education in Europe, and may well be presented with the chance to gain some regular first-team football with Hammarby.
