There has been a lot of talk in regards to Arsenal's £70 million transfer budget this summer, but more important than anything is their talismanic midfielder Jack Wilshere who has a bright future with the Gunners, if he can stay fit.
He has not been able to play consistent football because of an on-going ankle injury. But now he is fully fit and raring to go he will be looking to kick-start the new campaign at full potential.
Jack has proved his undoubted potential both for Arsenal and England, but he has not been able to show this as regularly as he would have hoped to due to injury. The 21-year-old has great movement, vision, passing and combination plays. He is already being hailed as next England superstar and among the best in his position - a deep lying midfielder.
Players like Mikel Arteta, Santi Cazorla and Aaron Ramsey also complement the young English midfielder well.
Jack has been capped seven times by England and he must ensure he has an injury-free season and hit a consistent spell of form with the World Cup in Brazil coming up.
Arsenal look set to sign Gonzalo Higuian from Real Madrid, and have also shown strong interest in the likes of Wayne Rooney and Luis Suarez. A fully-fit Wilshere, along with the additions of Higuian and other stars would make the Gunners a formidable force. This is the season for Wilshere to stamp his authority and show his class.
