La Liga officials have announced the fixtures for Spain's forthcoming domestic campaign, with Barcelona and Real Madrid due to play each other in October and March.
Neymar - Barcelona's highly-rated £48m signing from Santos - will take part in his first El Clasico for the reigning champions on October 27 at the Nou Camp.
His first visit to the Santiago Bernabeu to meet the Galacticos will follow on March 23, by which point La Blaugrana had all but guaranteed the title last season.
Meanwhile, the Brazilian's league debut for Barcelona will be at home to Joaquin Caparros' mid-table Levante side on the weekend of August 17-19.
At the same time, Real Madrid's new manager Carlo Ancelotti is set to take charge of his first La Liga game, with last year's runners up also at home, against Real Betis.
Spanish Cup winners Atletico Madrid are away to Sevilla, while Valencia entertain Malaga in the other standout games of the opening weekend.
The first leg of Spain's traditional season curtain-raiser, the Spanish Super Cup, will take place between Atletico Madrid and Barcelona on August 21, when Neymar hopes to secure his first Barca trophy - in front of his home fans - in the return fixture a week later.
