Pep Guardiola kicks Arjen Robben up the bum

Published 6 Comments

It’s fair to say that Arjen Robben can often divide opinion, so there are probably plenty of people that would have loved to do seriously what Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola has done.

The former Barcelona coach was taking his first training session at the Bavarian club when a light-hearted conversation led to him jokingly kicking the Holland winger up the backside.

GMS don’t know exactly what was being said between the two but it was all smiles and the new manager seems to be getting along with his new squad quite well.

He has quite a job on his hands replacing the retired Jupp Heynckes, who led Bayern to an historic Bundesliga, German Cup and Champions League treble last season.

Robben was one of the key players at the end of last season, so Guardiola doesn’t want to kick too hard as the former Chelsea and Real Madrid man is known for not being averse to an argument or two.

Thanks to 101GreatGoals for flagging this up and more thanks to ZoomInTV for producing the video.
