Lionel Messi can finally hold his head high alongside Joe Ledley – after having a song dedicated to him by the Thai Tims.

The group of school children in Thailand are once again being orchestrated by their guitar-playing teacher, who has clearly forgotten that the Argentine playmaker doesn’t play for Celtic.

With the youngster fully kitted-out in their Hoops gear, they proceed to belt out a tune dedicated to Messi, detailing his initial struggles as a youngster before going on to become one of the game’s greatest players.

And, at the conclusion of the song, the kids proceed to lift a sign welcoming Barcelona to Thailand. The La Liga champions travel to Asia as part of their pre-season tour, and will face the national side on August 7th.

Whilst the ‘Thai Tims’ produce a decent beat, perhaps the best part of this video is the bouncing mascot in the far corner. Dressed in full Celtic kit, the cuddly tiger bounces along with the song, producing some fine hip and hand movements throughout.

Check out the quality video below, and let us know which player you want them to sing about next…
