Amidst all the transfers that have been completed thus far or are lined up to be completed, the one that is the most talked about is surely Barcelona's capture of Brazilian starlet Neymar.

The 21-year-old proved during the recently concluded FIFA Confederations Cup that he is indeed already among the top players in the world and will probably be the best in future.

Neymar sizzled in Brazil, cutting in from the left and proving his worth by both creating and finishing some really amazing goals during the tournament.

Barcelona wrapped up the deal early into pre-season and his performances at the Confederations Cup would have surely sent Barcelona fans into a happy delirium.

Neymar is huge signing and he will shake up quite a few things at Barcelona. With the quality he brings to the table, the Catalans would be playing him regularly, and thus he will spark changes in their first team squad.

So what all does Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior add to the mighty Barcelona?

1. David Villa's exit

There is no surprise to who will be most affected by this transfer: David Villa.

Villa already had a foot in that exit door, but this transfer means the Spain star has now secured a transfer away from the Nou Camp - to Atletico Madrid.

2. Barcelona's system

Pep Guardiola created a highly successful 4-3-3 system during his time at Barcelona but, last season, they were exposed on the left side with Villa being a shadow of his former self and Andres Iniesta was hence forced on the left wing, and his impeccable combination with Xavi in the midfield was disrupted.

Barca were found wanting of that intricate and close passing between the two Spanish stalwarts when they were mauled against Bayern Munich in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

The arrival of Neymar would mean that their coach, Tito Vilanova, would be able to place Iniesta in his preferred position alongside Xavi and Sergio Busquets in the middle of the park and Neymar would be slotted in his usual 'cutting in from the left' position.

3. The left flank

Jordi Alba at left-back, Andres Iniesta in at left midfield, and Neymar at left-wing.

Barcelona have probably created the most impressive line up at the left side of their formation. Alba and Iniesta proved to be a handful for defences last season, with Alba's pace and Iniesta's class.

Add to that Neymar's brilliance and what results is a lethal trident of attacking football. Alba is one of the best at making attacking runs from his left-back position, while his overlapping play with Iniesta last season was delightful.

The missing cog in the wheel will be provided by Neymar, with Alba stretching defences wide and hence giving Neymar the space he needs to work his magic.

Iniesta will balance the flair and the pace these two have with his calm and accurate sense of attacking play. It's truly a dream combination for Barca, and is almost guaranteed them a whole lot of goals from the left side.

4. Lionel Messi

The best player in the world combined with the best young player of the world. Well, everyone in the world is excited about how the two of them will combine and, quite frankly, there is no reason why they will not torment defences.

Messi carried the sole responsibility of scoring goals last season, a responsibility that he held quite capably but clearly the Catalans were found wanting when he struggled with injuries late into the season.

A true striking partner upfront will help create more space for Messi as defences will have to contend with two genuine goalscoring threats now, and Messi would relish such space and surely convert it amass another astounding tally of goals.

With two of the most talented footballers pairing up, the possibilities are endless. They can become one the most successful goalscoring partnership of all time but only when they adjust a little to include the other's gameplay as well.

In all likelihood, they would do that and end up creating a spectacle for everyone to enjoy, excluding their opponents obviously.

Neymar has said all the right things about helping Messi become the best, and has won over Catalan hearts, and in all likelihood, he'll win over them with his football as well.
