In recent years we have seen some memorable debuts in the WWE - not only individual superstars are making an impact on their debuts but, nowadays, we are finally being treated to some of the best stables the WWE has had to offer.
We witnessed the debut of The Nexus led by Wade Barrett which included Daniel Bryan, Heath Slater, David Otunga amongst others and they certainly made their mark as they destroyed John Cena and the Raw set-up. Then we had The SHIELD in their brilliant debut as they set their sights on Ryback and are now holding the Tag Team Championships and the United States Championships.
These two teams received no hype whatsoever, no vignettes as their appearances came as a surprise but most recently the WWE began to hype up the emergence of The Wyatt Family - who have been competing on NXT and have shot up the rankings.
Those of you who are unaware of this team, it consists of Erick Rowan, Luke Harper and their leader, Bray Wyatt formerly known as Husky Harris and for a number of weeks we witnessed some of the creepiest vignettes to have been shown on the event. For weeks we have listened to Bray Wyatt preach to his followers, that they need to stand upright, and that we live in a world where society has poisoned the souls of men; and that this world needs more men like him.
Finally, after so much hype surrounding the eerie trio we witnessed firsthand at what they are capable of, throughout Raw we were shown videos of a wwe.com reported looking for The Wyatt Family in their neighbourhood; and just as the match between Kane and Christian came to an end where Kane defeated Christian. The lights turned off and The Wyatt Family appeared on the titan-tron.
Bray Wyatt was rocking back and forth in a chair in the house which has been shown in the vignettes - obviously taped beforehand and he said he has no followers; just brothers and sisters for the cause.
He went on to say people buy and sell fear and crave war, and he think it’s time for the masses to wake up and see the world deteriorating. He went on to say that this is not the beginning, but the end and he finished off the video package by walking through a door, lighting a match and telling us fans that they are here - which received an audacious reaction from the crowd.
Back into the ring, the lights were out and their music titles Live In Fear hit the PA system and we saw Bray Wyatt walk through the crowd holding a lantern, for a few moments he continues to walk down and eventually we can see him take a seat on his rocking chair before blowing out the candle.
Their music stops and the lights switch back on; only for Luke Harper and Erick Rowan to attack Kane, setting his head against the steel steps and jamming the other steel step into Kane’s throat.
Wyatt finally got up out of his seat and walked over to Kane, kneeling own next to him where he just looked up to the ceiling and laughed.
An eerie debut for such a charismatic trio and the future is looking bright for them with big things planned for the near future; finally the wait is over and we get to witness what The Wyatt Family are truly capable of.
