Arsenal forwards Gervinho and Nicklas Bendtner look as though their respective futures will lie away from Emirates Stadium after both were reportedly close to transfers.
The Ivory Coast international is reportedly being targeted by his former coach at Lille, Rudi Garcia, who recently took over at AS Roma.
Italian publication Il Tempo has claimed Garcia wants Roma to go and get Gervinho, though their €7million valuation falls short of the €10million Arsenal want.
Gervinho was a key player in Lille’s title-winning side in 2011, but has failed to produce consistently since Arsene Wenger brought him to the club.
Another player that has failed to live up to his potential, Nicklas Bendtner, is reportedly on the verge of agreeing a deal to Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Denmark international has spent the last two seasons on loan at Sunderland and Juventus, but failed to impress greatly at either club.
Frankfurt confirmed they were close to agreeing terms with the 25-year-old and a £3million transfer is expected to go through in the next few days.
