Borussia Dortmund were reeling earlier this year when Bayern Munich activated the £32million release clause of star man Mario Götze, but they still have a few more great players to fill the hole left by him.

One of those is Marco Reus and the speedy young forward has been showing what he can do in a pre-season latest friendly with Madgeburg.

An uneventful first half was brought to life by the Germany international just a couple of minutes before half time.

A free-kick was given about 30 yards out and, after a quick discussion with teammate Ilkay Gundogan, Reus stepped up and curled a beauty into the top corner.

It was quite a long way out so the 24-year-old did well to get the power and accuracy he needed – the dip as the ball curls home is sensational.
