Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has told Uruguayan radio station Sport 890 that he is flattered to have been linked with a move to Premier League duo Chelsea and Arsenal.
The Uruguayan international, who was recently on International duty playing in the Confederations Cup for Uruguay has made it very clear over the summer that he feels that his future lies away from Liverpool, following the intense media speculation during his time at the club.
Real Madrid are thought to be leading the race for Suarez' signature after he admitted that a move away from England all together would be most ideal. But it is Arsenal who have made the first move, having a £30m bid rejected last week - a signal of intent from Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, who feels that Suarez could be the man to lead his side to Premier League glory after nine trophyless seasons.
But Jose Mourinho is also tracking the 26-year-old, as he plans to refurbish his newly inherited Chelsea squad for the second time.
And Suarez himself has admitted that there have been no personal offers for his services, but both manager Brendan Rodgers and director Ian Ayre know of his desires to leave the club.
"There have been no offers yet, but Liverpool know exactly what is going on and what I want. My agent is in charge, he knows what I want. I am resting and relaxed. I am due back (in Liverpool) in about ten days, on the 21st July for the friendly with Melbourne Victory. A phone call could change everything," he told Radio station Sport 890.
And when asked in the interview about the reports linking him with a possible move to London with Chelsea or Arsenal, Suarez said: "It's good to know that I am still valued by teams like Arsenal. Friends call me up to ask if I am moving to Chelsea, to which I laugh. Don't believe everything you read or hear.
"I am sometimes off the grid- I don't know where my phone is sometimes," he added.
