Portuguese winger Cristiano Ronaldo has played down talks of a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu by claiming that he's happy in Spain and enjoying his football.

Transfer speculation has been rife over the past few weeks, with reports linking him with Manchester United, Monaco and Paris Saint Germain, but is the choice of staying with Real Madrid the correct one?

Having scored an outstanding 67 goals in as many matches last season, why was his future at the club in doubt? Any manager in the world would surely do their utmost to hold on to such an immense talent, but are Real Madrid in decline?

After finishing 15 points behind league winners Barcelona last season, and only winning one league title in the last five seasons, should Ronaldo now look elsewhere for titles and trophies, and a new challenge?

With PSG and Manchester United both winning their domestic league titles, and hot on his tail, you can understand why Ronaldo would consider every option before making a final decision.

A move to PSG would be deemed a good one, as PSG have money to spend and they are on the rise in world football. With both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ronaldo leading the attack, they could become the most deadly strikeforce on the planet.

However, many would argue that Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney and Ronaldo could become the greatest trio to ever play in the same team, and with the ability and technique of this possible trio, who can argue with that?

A move back to Old Trafford for Ronaldo would be classed as a dream by many United fans, as they would all love him to end his career where it really all began.

We all know that this is the club where the coaches and himself really recognised the potential and true greatness that he could achieve.

When he first made his debut for Manchester United, he dazzled fans and tricked his way past many experienced defenders, proving that Ferguson had signed a real prospect for the future.

Now, ten years later, he is considered the world's best player, alongside Lionel Messi.

Ronaldo will still find his future under scrutiny right up until deadline day before the start of the new season.

Despite his claims of continuing at Real Madrid, could he still make a sensational dream move back to a club which is still in his heart - Manchester United?
