Wayne Rooney can't wait to get started on Manchester United's pre-season tour of the Far East this summer.
The United forward leaves for Bangkok, Thailand with the rest of the squad today as David Moyes looks to prepare the team for his first season in charge.
And speaking to his official Facebook page, Rooney said: "Leave today for the pre-season tour! First stop, Bangkok. Looking forward to meeting all the fans! #mutour."
United face the Singha All Star XI in their first match of their six-game pre-season world tour on Saturday 13th July.
The club, looking to defend their Premier League title next season, then face friendly matches against an A-League All Star team in Sydney, Australia one week later and Yokohama F-Marinos in Japan on the 23rd July.
Stops follow in Hong Kong and Sweden before United return to Manchester for Rio Ferdinand's testimonial at Old Trafford.
Rooney has returned to training in the "best shape in a long time", according to Moyes.
And the 27-year-old striker is chomping at the bit to get started on preparations for the new season. Moyes also confirmed new teammate Wilfried Zaha will be on the tour.
