Spanish starlet Gerard Deulofeu has joined Everton on a season-long loan deal from Barcelona.
Deulofeu spent last season playing for Barcelona B in the Segunda Division. Gerard operates either as winger or an out and out forward.
He has made two appearances for the first team at the Nou Camp and has an impressive 89% pass completion rate which will suit the expected style of football that Roberto Martinez will be employing next season.
Deulofeu joins Arouna Kone, Antolin Alcaraz and Joel Robles in joining the Martinez revolution at Goodison Park. Deulofeu is the first non-former Wigan player with the other three additions all having played a part last season.
Kone finished top scorer with 11 goals last year. Antolin Alcaraz made 68 appearances after joining the Latics in 2010 but missed a large majority of last season through injury.
Joel made eight appearances after replacing Omani international Ali-Al Habsi as number one towards the back-end of last season.
