Norwich City have completed the signing of Swedish international defender Martin Olsson and experienced goalkeeper Carlo Nash.
Olsson, 25, has signed for an undisclosed fee from Championship club Blackburn Rovers and has penned a four-year contract with the Norfolk club.
The Swede, who made 143 appearances at Ewood Park, is capable of playing at both left back and at left midfield and his versatility and previous experience in the Premier League, made him an attractive prospect for Canaries manager Chris Hughton.
Hughton told the official website: "We're delighted with the addition of Martin. He's been playing for England for seven years and is well acclimatised to the Premier League.
"He can play anywhere on the left hand side, so he brings us good flexibility in that sense, plus at 25 he's at an age where he has some experience and also some time to improve. At this time it's about improving the squad that we have and Martin certainly does that," Hughton added.
Goalkeeper Nash, 39, has joined the Canaries on a free transfer, after being released by Premier League rivals Stoke City.
He has signed a one-year deal at Carrow Road and will provide much needed back up to John Ruddy and Mark Bunn, following the departures of Jed Steer and Declan Rudd.
Norwich have been extremely active in the transfer market so far as they look to build upon last season’s 11th place finish.
Olsson and Nash join fellow new signings Ricky Van Wolfswinkel, Nathan Redmond and Javier Garrido as manager Chris Hughton looks to re-shape his squad.
