Patrice Evra claims Manchester United's success can be partly attributed to his ear for a great tune, according to The Sun.

DJ Patrice, as Evra refers to himself, is in charge of the United dressing room music before games, and the Frenchman believes he plays an important pre-match role for the club.

"The dressing room is where we focus but it's also time for DJ Patrice," Evra told The Sun.

"I put on very good songs and that's why we win the league - because my sounds are magic. When someone else tries to put their's on, everyone is booing him."

The former-Monaco star clearly fancies himself as the next David Guetta, but not every Manchester United star is a fan.

David De Gea reportedly sticks his headphones on in the dressing room to listen to heavy metal - it must psych him up for 90 minutes of getting clattered from corners.

But whatever Evra is up to in the dressing room, it must be pretty good. The Premier League champions romped to the title last season - the last campaign under Sir Alex Ferguson.

The Scot clearly didn't mind letting DJ Patrice loose on the decks, but it remains to be seen whether David Moyes does the same.
