Many (if not all) football fans have witnessed the divine, the dazzling, and the truly impeccable displays of Eden Hazard, Juan Mata and Oscar – the Chelsea trio.
Now the Blues can add one more youngster to that turbine.
Holland midfielder Marco van Ginkel expressed his ambition and enthusiasm for first-team football - his agent claiming that he wouldn’t have made a switch, if there were no guarantees of featuring in the first team squad.
Van Ginkel is young and only 20-years-old - he has much to learn, and he already possesses the required fitness for the English footballing world. Chelsea fans can be reassured with the confident provision that this young man will display.
Chelsea are all about playing as a team - as a union.
With the uncertainty of John Obi Mikel’s future at Stamford Bridge, Van Ginkel’s chances of first-team action have dramatically increased.
The Dutch international evidently knows how to pick-a-pass, score a goal, as well as defend.
Jose Mourinho has rapidly expressed his thoughts on his second signing: "Marco van Ginkel is one of the best prospects. He is not yet like Schurrle - close to being a finished product - but he is a player with great potential."
If the 20-year-old bursts through to a first team position, it will almost be the words of a simpleton to express that he will not link up well with Chelsea’s trio.
Van Ginkel will also play along side the speedy little Brazilian Ramires, who was one of the first Chelsea players Mourinho contacted to express his admiration for his talent.
I for one would love to see a Ramires-Van Ginkel defensive-midfield partnership.
