Manchester United flew their squad over to Bangkok yesterday to begin their pre-season tour - without club captain Nemanja Vidic.
The 31-year-old Serbian has had a difficult few years concerning niggling injuries, so when stories surface of another potentially injury problem, United fans world-wide can be excused if they get a little edgy.
Vidic did not fly out with his team-mates to Bangkok due to sciatica, however United's new official Twitter page followed up the story by reassuring fans that the injury is "not serious" and that Vidic may join up with his team-mates later in the tour.
This is good news for United, as a loaded defensive line with fully-fit senior squad members such as Rio Ferdinand and Vidic will be crucial to combat United's tricky start to the season with the Community Shield against Wigan, followed by Swansea City away the next Saturday.
United will then face an invigorated Chelsea, under the new era of Jose Mourinho's management. Captain Vidic will be one of the first names on the team-sheet for new manager David Moyes to kick-start his first campaign as United manager, providing the centre-back is fully match-fit.
