Neymar, the most debated talent and iconic figure in the world of football at the moment, will be tested soon, as the La Liga season draws closer. But, as spectators, what should we anticipate from him?

As the Confederations Cup has recently ended, Neymar was arguably the best player throughout the tournament - where he netted four spectacular goals and claimed two assists - playing a central role as a play-maker for a victorious Brazil side.

With such a stunning performance at the highest level of football, how will he perform in Barcelona?

Well, with the likes of Lionel Messi, Andreas Iniesta and Xavi, he will have a challenge to perform at his best.

Neymar is renowned for his outstanding dribbling skills and playing on the wing, but how will he fit in at Barcelona?

As Messi is known for his goal scoring, Neymar is known for his skills. Many argue that in the Brazilian league the defences are week, but it is, in-fact, comparable to the highest level of football.

It has produced some of the greatest talents such as Pele and Ronaldinho therefore the league must have been a challenge to improve their skills.

Although the Brazilian league may not be in akin to La Liga, it is a challenging league with aspiring talents.

With that in mind, Neymar will be capable of performing very well in the Spanish league, as his performance in the Confederations Cup has gone to show.

Now, for the answer to the real question - will Neymar fit in Barcelona?

Neymar will fit in at Barcelona very well, in my opinion, but his goal tally will not be nearly as high as Messi's.

As Messi is widely considered the best player in the world, the spotlight was put onto him due to this spectacular ability to score goals. This spotlight, though, will change from Messi to Neymar quickly.

As absurd as that may sound, this will be the case because Neymar will provide spectators with more entertainment.

As scoring a goal can cause a crowd to roar, Neymar's fanciness will help him stick out like a sore-thumb.

With top-class midfielders such as Iniesta and Xavi, Neymar will have better service than he did at Santos, thus meaning the 21-year-old will constantly be in the spotlight - not only when he scores, but every time he touches the ball.

Since Messi is most renowned for his goal-scoring ability, he will lack providing the entertainment Neymar will as the Brazilian starlet naturally performs both.

Neymar will live up to expectations in a Barcelona shirt and eventually surpass Messi due to his ability to entertain - not only with goals, but skills as well.
