Premier League side Arsenal are set to increase their offer for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez after initially having a £30million bid rejected for the Uruguayan, according to the London Evening Standard.
Suarez's future has been dominating the headlines in recent weeks after he announced his intentions of leaving Anfield at the end of last season.
The striker, who has been taking part in the Confederations Cup with Uruguay, admitted in a press conference that he believes his time is up at Liverpool and also revealed that he wants to be playing in the Champions League once again.
Suarez also admitted that he believes it would be best for him to leave England altogether as he believes his image has been damaged by the press and match officials.
Despite admitting that he wants to leave England, he has recently elaborated on his future and revealed that he is flattered by Arsenal's interest.
It was reported last week that Arsenal had a £30million bid rejected by Liverpool, but it now looks like the north London club could make a second bid for the striker.
It is expected that Arsene Wenger is prepared to bid around £35million for the Uruguayan and he believes that would be enough for Liverpool to sell.
Arsenal's attentions have turned to Suarez after reports suggested that their hopes of signing Real Madrid's Gonzalo Higuain have been dented by Carlo Ancelotti wanting to keep the Argentine at the club.
