Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly met Monaco owner Dmitry Rybolovlev over a possible move from Spain to the French League.
The 28-year-old revealed his future plan earlier this month by insisting his future lies at Real Madrid while Real president Florentino Perez reiterated that the Portuguese skipper wants to end his career at Spain.
But according to reports in France, Ronaldo met Monaco's billionaire owner Dmitry Rybolovlev to discuss a sensational move to the Ligue 1 side.
Ronaldo has also been linked with a possible move back to Manchester United with new boss David Moyes believed to be keen for the star to return to Old Trafford.
According to the Le10Sport, Monaco owner has urged Ronaldo to end his remaining two years on his contract with Real Madrid before joining the French giants, by which time Monaco may have sealed Champions League football.
Ronaldo has been in Monaco on holiday and when he asked about a possible move to Monaco, he said to reporters: "I can’t say I would never come to this club [Monaco], which has a great owner.
"Today I am very happy at Real Madrid. My future is there. I just came to Monaco on vacation."
