Arsenal kicked off their pre-season tour of Asia with a emphatic 7-0 victory over the Indonesia All Stars.

A whopping 88,000 fans crowd at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium saw Arsene Wenger’s side put seven in Jakarta.

Wenger watched his side take a 19th minute lead through Theo Walcott.

After a large amount of substitutions, the second half saw Arsenal add six goals. Young striker Chuba Akpom doubled the visitors lead, before the more experienced French striker Olivier Giroud grabbed two in the space of three minutes.

German striker Lukas Podolski got in on the act putting Arsenal 5-0 up. The last two goals came from two more youngsters: Kris Olsson and Thomas Eisfeld.

The opener was created by the talented Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain when he stride into the area on the right flank before laying the ball back to Walcott to score with confidence.

Aaron Ramsey dazzled the crowd with some silky skills and accurate passing whilst Serge Gnabry reinforced his claims for first team place with a fine performance.

The young German laid on an excellent ball for Akpom to bury his chance in the 54th minute.

Bacary Sagna, who has been linked with a move away from the  club came off the bench along with fellow compatriot Giroud. THe move immediately paid of for Arsene Wenger as the pair combined for goals three and four. Both of Giroud's goals came from the defender's crosses.

Tomas Rosicky then claimed two assists, setting up Podolski to strike home from 20 yards out. The Czech then crossed from the left to allow Olsson to slide home the sixth goal.

Giroud then turned provider as a knockdown opened up space for Thomas Eisfield. Eisfeld whipped a left footed shot in off the crossbar to make it seven.

Arsene Wegner and his squad now move on Hanoi to face Vietnam in their next friendly on Wednesday.
