Real Madrid youngster Jese Rodriguez is high on the wish-list of Tottenham technical co-ordinator Franco Baldini.

Los Blancos forward was one of the shining stars in the recently concluded FIFA U20 World Cup, and he is rumoured to be on his way out looking for regular first-team action.

Real Madrid staff, including Zinedine Zidane, rate youngster Jese very highly and consider him as the successor to Cristiano Ronaldo's throne.

The Spain and Real Madrid phenomenon had made his Madrid debut back in 2011, and had put up some impressive performances for the Real Madrid Castilla team as well.

The winger/forward is a treat to watch on his day, with his trickery and ability to shoot with both feet. He is reminiscent of Ronaldo in many ways, someone who loves to attack the defenders with ball at his mercy.

The UEFA U19 Championship top scorer in 2012 is attracting interest across the continent after his recent exploits which won him the Bronze shoe in the U20 World Cup.

Even though there is only one year is left on his contract and Tottenham are hot on his heels, Madrid faithful are hopeful of the player agreeing on an extension.

So, why would Tottenham be a more attractive option for Jese than staying at Real Madrid?

In Madrid, he will get very limited playing tim,e especially with the addition of Isco and the promotion of Alvaro Morata. While at Tottenham he will be competing with the likes of Sigurdsson, Dempsey, Townsend and Holtby for a spot in the starting XI.

Andre Villas-Boas is known for promoting young talents, and Jese has a good chance of impressing the gaffer with his attractive style of play with truck loads of goals.

The Castilla man had scored 22 goals and 12 assists last season for the Real Madrid B team and his eye-catching performances in the U20 World Cup means he is ready for more action and an ambitious team like Tottenham will fit the bill perfectly for the youngster.

With players like Bale, Dembele and Paulinho around, Jese will get an opportunity to shine with premium service at his disposal to take on the world. Jese's ability to play anywhere on the frontline makes him a valuable addition to the Spurs.

The winger is known for his quick feet and trickery which bamboozles the defenders, and his lightning feet provides him space and time to shoot - something which is well suited with Tottenham style of play.

His skills and goalscoring ability will be great addition to the team which is in dire need of attacking additions as well.
