Italian side AS Roma have beaten off competition from top clubs across the globe to complete the signing of Croatian centre-back Tin Jedvaj, reports SkySports.
Highly-rated Croatian youngster was chased by almost all the top clubs in Europe.
English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur were rumoured to be leading the chase for the youngster at one stage and interest was registered by clubs like Real Madrid, Manchester City and Arsenal.
Serie A side AS Roma has acted quickly to snap up the highly-rated centre-back from Dinamo Zagreb.
Jedvaj along with Alen Halilovic were touted to form the fulcrum of Croatian national team in the near future and Stadio Olimpio officials will be pretty pleased with their prized signature.
Jedvaj, 17, moved to Italy on a three-year deal reported to be worth 5million euros.
The centre-back has already made 13 appearances for the Croatian side and had formed a strong pairing at the back with Josip Simunic.
He was considered as someone who can step up to the occasion despite his tender age and has also registered a senior goal to his name already.
