So, it's only a month before the Premier League begins once again.

It will be a new beginning of sorts for many teams, most notably Manchester United. But the focus of this article will be on the Chelsea.

With the 'Special One' returning to  massively boost the side, Chelsea are already emerging as red-hot favourites to become the champions of England come May 2014.

However, which team will help achieve this success? Let's take a look.

Formation: 4-2-3-1.

Goalkeeper: Petr Cech

Consistency personified. The six-time Czech player of the year is Mr. Dependable for Chelsea in between the sticks.

Vastly experienced, expect another solid season from him.

Right-back: Cesar Azpilicueta

Young and fast, he was Chelsea's bargain signing of last year.

Incredibly mature for his age and versatile, he makes decent runs and has a nice cross in his armoury.

Centre-back: Branislav Ivanovic

He is an absolute beast. Strong and terrific in the air on both sides of the pitch, the Serbian is a real asset for the team.

Can play as a right-back too, and has a knack of scoring crucial goals.

Centre-back: David Luiz

You can't help but like him. A real character, he put in a stunning performance in the recently concluded Confederations Cup to dispel any rumours linking him with a move away from Stamford Bridge.

He is great on the ball, has pace, strength, and a wonderful ability to score mind-boggling goals. A future Captain too.

Left-back: Ashley Cole

He still has the pace, he still has the skill, and he still has the experience.

Another consistent player in this line-up, Cole is going to be very important for Chelsea's season.

Defensive-midfield: Daniele De Rossi

Mourinho is a big fan of his. And if that isn't enough to justify his talent, then go no further than seeing his displays for Roma.

This transfer is very likely to happen, and if it does, then Chelsea have added a player who has a lot of experience, steel, grit, determination, and strength.

Defensive-midfield: Ramires

He could have been a marathon runner if he hadn't been a footballer.

Blessed with unlimited stamina and speed, Ramires also is a great finisher as his goal at the Nou Camp in 2012 should show.

Right-wing: Oscar

An integral part of the 'Three Amigos' - alongside Eden Hazard and Juan Mata - he has all the talent in the world.

He had a great breakthrough season, and should establish himself in this team.

Left-wing: Eden Hazard

As the name suggests, he is an absolute Hazard for the opposing defences.

Blessed with lightning speed, agility, trickery, and a magnificent pair of feet which, the Belgian is a world beater.

One can only wonder how phenomenal his second season with the Blues will be.

Attacking-midfield: Juan Mata

An absolute class act. His record last season should show his sensational ability.

Striker: Wayne Rooney

Rooney, at his best, is one of the most talented players in the world, as he has considerable pace, unimaginable stamina, a fantastic ability to score goals, and versatility.

If this transfer does not happen though, there should be no hesitation in propelling Romelu Lukaku to this position.

Substitutes: Mark Schwarzer, Frank Lampard, John Terry, Ryan Bertrand, Andre Schurrle,  Fernando Torres, Romelu Lukaku, Kevin De Bruyne.
