Real Madrid are clearly targeting a successful future, after they have signed a number of players under the age of 24 this summer.

The Galacticos have been known to sign the biggest names in world football but, they have changed their approach so far this summer.

They have opted to bring in young talents and with FIFA Financial Fair Play soon to be in effect - Madrid may be doing the right thing in securing players who can bring them forward for the next five to eight years.

So far this summer they have signed Spanish starlet Isco (21), young Brazilian Casemiro (21), Daniel Carvajal (21) and Asier Illarramendi (23). They have also given a new contract to Nacho (23) who is a product of their youth academy and has featured 11 times for the club in La Liga.

This clearly shows that Madrid are securing their future and these are players who are doing well presently and will certainly be pushing for a place in the first 11 particularly Isco, Illarramendi and Carvajal.

Isco is now the golden boy of Spanish football and is a player that has made a name for himself at Malaga especially with his scintillating performances in the Champions League. Illarramendi helped Real Sociedad to secure a Champions League spot for next season and was brilliant for Spain U21 at the Euro Championship.

Carvajal had a brilliant break out season at Bayer Leverkusen last season and has returned to the Santiago Bernabeu where he is likely to feature regularly at right-back. Casemiro and Nacho will have to fight hard to get a spot in the team but no doubt they will be given playing time as Madrid look to secure their future.

Carlo Ancelotti will have many options to choose from and he has a young team to choose from. There is a very good blend of youth and experience in this Real Madrid squad and there is no doubt that they will be expecting to regain the La Liga title from arch-rivals Barcelona.
