Shandog Luneng star scores fantastic flick

Roda Antar scored a goal to remember for Shandog Luneng – and ended their five-game winless run in the process.

The Lebanese international playmaker connected with a sublime far-post backheel flick, beating the defender to the ball and looping it over the keeper into the far post.

Gilberto Macena had earlier opened the scoring for Luneng on six minutes, but Zhang Wenzhao levelled for the relegation-threatened hosts.

Antar’s moment of magic followed, with the skipper scoring two goals in nine minutes to put his side into an unassailable lead. Jan Rezek pulled one back for Yatai, but it was to be in vain.

The win means Luneng remain 13-points behind Chinese Super League leaders Guangzhou Evergrande, with a five-point cushion back to Beijing Guoan in third.
