Primera División Goals of the Season

Published Add your comment

Argentine football is a cauldron of high-emotion and spectacular football, with countless spectacular goals being scored – GMS have put together the best of them.

The Torneo Inicial begins in under a month, so there is still a bit of time to fill before we get our fix of fresh footy goodness.

What better way to while away the hours by watching some of the best goals from the previous season? There isn't one, that's what.

Velez Sarsfield were Super Champions and they have an entry in the top goals compilation, with a screamer from Lucas Pratto at an acute angle from about 30 yards out on the left.

GMS’s favourite was San Lorenzo star Hector Villalba’s amazing sprint from near one of his own corner flags into the opposition area and crashing the ball into the roof of the net.

However, the star of the reel is Jorge Luna, now of Independiente, with two long-range belters for San Martin.

Sit back, relax and enjoy the Festival of Goal in the video above.
