Marlon Harewood will train with Championship club Millwall for the next three days.

He will train at the club's Calmont Road training ground until Wednesday 18, however, no discussions have been held about offering the striker a contract.

Although Bristol City appears to be the likeliest destination for Harewood, a move to the Den would reportedly be preferred. His family are situated in London and the 33-year-old is keen to remain in the metropolitan area.

Steve Lomas, the newly-appointed Millwall manager, has yet to indicate if he would like to offer Harewood, who was released by Barnsley in June, a contract despite letting him train with the Lions' first team squad.

Sky Sports reported that Lomas is keen to sign the forward due to the fact that the pair played together at West Ham.

Harewood scored two goals in 32 appearances last season, and would provide an ideal partner for the returning Steve Morison.
