After a nervy finish to the season, Chris Hughton's side have seen some new faces coming in to the squad.
In this article, we are going to analyse the new signings, suggest a possible team, and say who Norwich need to finish their summer signings.
We start with the confirmed signings:
Ricky van Wolfswinkel
The young Dutchman has been a source of hope for many Norwich fans after Norwich were struggling to score goals. The 24-year old was unheard of before Norwich made him their club record signing in an £8.5million deal with Sporting Lisbon. However, if he is a success, clubs bigger than Norwich could sign him within a year, so if he is a goal-scorer, Norwich would do well to hold on to him.
The 28-year-old Spanish left-back flourished when on loan in Chris Hughton's team last season and now he has been signed permanently. He will hope to show his quality again this year. However, there is now competition for his position with the arrival of Martin Olsson from Blackburn.
Norwich have signed the Dutchman from FC Twente for an undisclosed fee. The 23-year-old was set to join Everton last year, but the deal fell through due to a failed medical. Fer scored 21 goals in 71 appearances for Twente following a move from Feyenoord in 2011. Hopefully he will link up with fellow dutchman Ricky van Wolfswinkel and be the versatile, goalscoring midfielder that Chris Hughton wants.
Winger Redmond signed for Norwich for £2 million, with that fee potentially rising to £3.2 million depending on appearances. Hughton would have known Redmond at Birmingham. The 19-year-old has a lot of potential, he is a very quick and skilful player, he is definitely one for the future.
The Swedish defender, who was signed from Blackburn, can play either as a left-back or left midfielder, so he will challenge for a place in Chris Hughton's team with the likes of Garrido and Pilkington. Olsson joined for an undisclosed fee.
The keeper who moved on a free transfer will most probably be a third choice keeper behind Ruddy and Bunn, however he might have been bought in case Ruddy left for Chelsea.
So there are all the six signings so far but who else does Norwich need?
Norwich need another centre back and at least one other striker, with only Wolfswinkel and Becchio, they could use another forward in case of injuries. They also need another centre back, because Sebastien Bassong, Turner and Barnet do not provide enough depth or quality.
