Paris St-Germain announced they have signed Uruguay international Edinson Cavani.
Cavani, 26, scored 39 goals for Napoli last season and is set to become the most expensive transfer in French League history with the fifth highest transfer fee of all time.
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi told BBC Sport: "The transfer of Edinson Cavani is further proof of the club's ability to attract the best players in the world."
PSG signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic for £15.7 million last season and scored 30 goals and helped the French club to the Ligue 1 title.
The transfer has however raised questions over the future of Ibrahimovic. The Swedish goal machine has been linked with moves to Manchester City and Chelsea.
With Cavani as the new main striker - it is likely Ibrahimovic will move on.
After all he hasn't exactly been loyal to clubs over the years having played for seven different teams.
Cavani was also linked with a move to the Premier League, but chose PSG as he told BBC Sport it is "a great project".
It seems likely that money was a big factor in the deal as Manchester City, who were interested, were not willing to reach his humungous transfer fee.
This deal is one of many expensive deals so far this summer and more money is set to be spent, with many more big deals rumoured.
The argument that there is too much money in football seems to be a good one and you can't help but feel that transfer fees are getting ridiculous.
