As Arsenal prepare to make a fresh bid for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, it is reported that the Uruguayan forward is interested in the proposed move to the north London outfit.
It was reported that the reason Suarez wanted a move away from Anfield was due to the way he was treated by the English press so rumours circulated about a move to Real Madrid for the Uruguayan. But sources from Sky Sports have said that Suarez would be interested in staying in England if a side in the Champions League came in for him.
While the rumoured Suarez negotiations are on-going, Manchester United have made a bid for former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas which has reignited Arsenal's interest in the Spanish midfielder.
Barcelona are unlikely to sell though as they recently sold Thiago Alcantara to German side Bayern Munich, so they will need the services of Catalan born midfielder.
who have been linkedArsene Wenger has also switched the attention in his goalkeeper search to Newcastle's Tim Krul, who could be available to the Gunners with a £6 million move for the Toon stopper.
The interest in the Dutch goalkeeper comes as previous transfer target Julio Cesar looks close to joining Italian side Napoli, but there is still hope that Arsenal can sign the Brazilian.
Reports confirm that Cesar's agent Josias Cardoso told Calciomercato.it: "It's not all done yet, there are many possibilities (that he goes to Napoli), but there are some details to be resolved between the player and Napoli,"
"When will the signature arrive? I don't know, it could be today, or in a few days. The Villarreal interest? There has been some interest from Spain, but nothing concrete. The only two concrete tracks are Arsenal and Napoli."
