Shahid Khan will surely bring his plethora of money to Cravan Cottage, and will ultimately bring more entertainment from superstars around the world.

In essence, over-coating the Barclays Premier League with gold paint.

There seems to be a trend in the purchase of whole football clubs. Why wouldn’t there be? Almost everywhere you travel, almost anyone you meet, run-in-to, disagree with or talk on the phone to supports a Premier League club.

Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool were well known as the top four clubs with Chelsea only gaining the status after the take over of Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich.

Mega-wealthy Manchester City broke further records in their attempts to create a figurative Trojan Army.

The greatest respect for White Hart Lane, the home of Tottenham, where many truly lethal players emerge and break through the soil like a germinated seed.

In the Spanish league we have Real Madrid and Barcelona. Clubs that out-fame Brad Pitt and Charlie Sheen respectively.

These Spanish giants house some of the most out-of-this-world skilled players, and even more surreal entertainment that keeps fans addicted to the game.

AC Milan and Inter Milan are no different in integrity to the fans. A constant threat in the UEFA Champions League and an infinite concern for any opposing club.

Then the Gods of football offer us Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. Bayern Munich is arguably the best club currently on the globe.

Now Pep Guardiola is the new manager of the German powerhouse. An appointment that will create panic-attacks to any opposing force that comes across the Allianz Arena locals.

There are now newly emerging clubs that have been lucky enough to be blessed with an owner of great wealth. Owners that want the glamour that football presents as an extra bonus to sweeten the deal.

Paris Saint-Germain have evidently impressed the world. Monaco have captured attention simply due to the signing of Radamel Falcao, and Fulham, a mere few days ago, are under new ownership of Shahid Khan.

Premier League supporters already watch in amazement as their team’s battle out to win the title. It shows us matches of strength, skill and creativity.

Although I, preferably, enjoy when talent is grown and nursed from the academies, I also enjoy entertainment. Entertainment where one could show a non-football supporter a game, and in essence, that non-supporter becomes hooked – why wouldn’t they.
