At the moment, it looks like the Championship is serving up the hottest prospects in football, but who are the best young players playing in the second division in England?

We take a look:

Sam Byram, 19, Right-back, Leeds United

Byram’s strong displays for Leeds United have drawn admiring glances from a number of Premier League clubs, with Manchester City said to be at the head of the queue.

He looks like a quality right-back who will hopefully break onto the international scene soon.

Will Hughes, 18, Centre-midfield, Derby County

Although he hasn't quite hit the international stage at the moment, Hughes made his first team debut for Derby at only 16, which is pretty good at Championship level.

Tom Ince, 21, Centre-midfield, Blackpool

Although his dad, and current manager and ex-England player, is very biased towards his son, Paul Ince does have a point when he says that if Wilfried Zaha is worth £15 million, Tom is worth at least £25 million.

There is not much more to say about him except that I can guarantee you he will become one of the best players in the world.

Fred Onyedinma, 16, Attacking-midfield, Millwall

The most unknown player on our list, Onyedinma has an incredible amount of potential for a 16-year-old. He hasn't made an appearance for Millwall's first team yet, however, he is being scouted by every single one of the clubs in the top five of the Premier League last season, which shows his worth.
