In past years, Manchester United have built themselves an impressive reputation for buying youngsters with great potential and transforming them into astonishing players.

Among those players are Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo. Although Manchester United have not been too busy this summer, Wilfried Zaha, an intriguing prospect from Crystal Palace, has been introduced to the squad and has been given the opportunity to impress in pre-Season matches.

As one of few new player's in the English champion's squad, what do we expect of him in years to come?

Although he was born in the Ivory Coast, Zaha could become a stand-out player on the international stage for England. His excellent trickery and dribbling ability is something rarely seen from English players.

With many of England's top stars coming to the end of their careers, the team needs talented youngsters to take their place. Players like Zaha.

A phrase often used when describing the young Englishman is the 'Next Ronaldo'. There are evident similarities between the playing styles of these two tricksters. The effective use of step-overs and acceleration is key in both players games as well as other things.

Ronaldo's career was built in Manchester, where he won numerous Premier Leagues, English domestic trophies and one Champions League. There is no doubt that Zaha will want to win trophies with United also.

It is truly infrequent for English players to move away from the Premier League. If Zaha were to become as incredible as Ronaldo did at United, it would probably be less likely for him to move away.

Although Zaha has joined up with United this summer, the deal was officially confirmed in January. United loaned him back to Palace until the end of the season so he could help them move up to the Premier League.

Crystal Palace were successful in their attempt to move into the Premier League, with Zaha being a key factor. Zaha will play against his former club this season, and I'm sure it will be emotional for him just as it was for Ronaldo against Sporting Lisbon.

Today, the world is blessed with many talented young footballers who look to make this new generation of players one to remember. Among these players is Wilfred Zaha. As he becomes a member of one of the world's greatest teams, we are excited to witness his rapid improvement.
