Another Premier League season is beckoning on us and I am going to discuss the potential stars of the 2013/14 season.
The shortlist will include players who have the ability as well as craft to set the EPL alight this coming season.
1) Phillipe Coutinho
The young Brazillian took the Premier League by the scruff of it's neck when he arrived at Anfield in the January window.
Coutinho brought a different dimension to his Liverpool side and really flourished under Brendan Rodgers.
Phillipe fits in perfectly with what Rodgers is trying to build at Liverpool, but even he couldn't of predicted just how good Coutinho was. The Brazilian brought added craft to the Liverpool attack with pace in abundance and packed full of flair Coutinho is set for a hugely ambitious season, the 21-year-old is key to the developments at his parent club and the ambition he carries can ignite a Liverpool revival.
Coutinho is a rare talent, he has an eye for a key pass as well as a prolific chance conversion rate. He can read the game very well and has a fantastic footballing mind, which fits in perfectly with the Rodgers philosophy.
Coutinho has the potential to wow crowds this campaign so don't be surprised to see him tearing defences to pieces this time round.
Another Brazilian wonder-kid makes the list of five, this time in the shape of Chelsea' midfield artist Oscar.
Oscar who's still only 20-years-old endured a gruelling campaign last time round, proving that he isn't just another Ronaldo wanna-be. Oscar announced himself a Chelsea player at the beginning of the 2012/13 campaign, Oscar soon proved himself to be crucial for his club with his fantastic flair-filled performances.
But Oscar also brings something different to the Chelsea frontline. As well as being an amazing talent on the ball, Oscar works ever so hard off it, the hot shot has a fantastic engine as well as a winning mentality which makes him a very unique player.
The midfield maestro isn't afraid to fly into 50/50 challenges and gives his all for club and country.
Oscar is a shy character, but after a season of settling into his new surroundings expect him to return with a bang this coming campaign. Oscar is set to continue his development under new Chelsea boss, and expect the Brazilian to set the premier league alight with his technical ability as well as his blistering pace.
3) Wilfried Zaha
The Manchester United wiz-kid ripped the championship to pieces leaving defences in tatters and his mesmerising feet are sure to have the same affect on Premier League back-lines.
Zaha is set to walk straight into David Moyes' starting xI after the club announced they had no intentions on allowing their wonder-kid back out on loan. Zaha has fantastic ability, he has flair, trickery, pace and can finish which are all main factors of success in the EPL. He is set to write his name up in lights this coming season and i guarentee the 19-year-old Englishmen has the Old Trafford faithful on their feet week in, week out.
The inevitable success of yet another youth team product looks set to ignite the fight of a new look United team under Moyes.
Zaha will provide a fantastic service to United marksmen Rooney and Van Perise and will leave defenders shellshocked with his unbelievable energy and pace. Look out for the new United talisman, he may just prove to be Moyes' secret weapon.
4) Gerard Delofeu
Roberto Martinez this week announced the season long loan deal of Barcelona (B) forward Gerard Delofeu, news which may not of excited Everton fans but, trust me on this one the Goodison faithful are in for a treat.
The young spaniard, dubbed the new Messi has so much ability, as well as potential which is sure to leave Premier League defences in tatters. Delofeu has fantastic energy and a real buzz about him, he has pace, flair, trickery and can finish when he is required too.
Gerard Delofeu can operate either out wide or down the centre on the offensive line and will cause international defenders problems all day long.
Barcelona young gun Delofeu has so much to offer to Everton and he will have Goodison rocking with his natural talent. Keep an eye out for the budding youngster because he will be a huge success in the English game.
5) Olivier Giroud
The Arsenal forward endured a rather limited first season at the Gunners after his multi-million pound move from Ligue 1 outfit Montpellier.
Giroud took a while to get off the mark for his new club and with high expectancies as a Robin van Persie replacement the Frenchman seemed to crumble under the pressure in his early days. But as the season progressed Giroud proved himself to be a vital part of Arsenal's late push for Champions League football and looks set to take the Premier League by storm this time round.
Giroud flourished towards the end of the 2012/13 campaign and with the 2013/14 season opener quickly approaching Giroud is taking major steps towards being a key man for Arsenal. With two pre-season matches played, Giroud has netted five times already, despite being used as a substitute in the momentum gaining fixtures Olivier Giroud has proven he will be a major force for his club this time round. Giroud is a huge presence on the field and has fantastic strength, he can pick a pass as well as find the net with ease.
He is dominant in the air and at his best defences often find the French talisman unplayable. Giroud is set for a crucial season in his Arsenal career and looks set to prove himself as one of Europe's top strikers.
