Every now and then we post a clip of a "horror challenge" - or a variation on the theme.
But some are more horrific than others. And this definitely falls into the more extreme end of the spectrum.
Oeste player Jheimy was left hospitalised following this awful aerial challenge from Icasa opponent Bruno Perone. Reports in Portugal claim Jheimy suffered multiple fractures as a result - the New York Daily News says Jheimy suffered four fractures to his face.
He'll require two months of rehab after surgery, and will wear a protective mask upon his return to the pitch.
Oeste went on to win the match 3-0, after Bruno Perone - who made a brief appearance for Queens Park Rangers in England two years ago - was sent off by the referee. And rightly so.
