Will there ever be a replacement for Lionel Messi?
Well it seems if there is such a person, Barcelona themselves may have found him already. Tipped to one day be as good as Messi, Takefusa Kubo has some serious shoes to fill.
Born on the 4th July 2001, Takefusa Kubo is only twelve-years-old but, and if being the first Japanese player to have signed for the Barcelona youth academy was not enough, the young boy has been tipped to be the next Lionel Messi.
Because of his immense dribbling skills and his shooting capability, Kubo has now became the hottest prospect in world football.
But because of his youth, we may have to wait at least four years until he will be able to sign a professional contract for either the Barcelona B team or the main Barcelona team.
However, Takefusa Kubo is not the first Asian wonder kid to grace the pitch for the Catalan's impressive youth academy. Fifteen-year-old Seung Woo Lee is also tipped to be the Korean Messi once again because of his close quarter dribbling and shooting capability.
Kubo showed just how much of a talent he really is after managing to score six goals in Barcelona's 7-0 demolition over Tortosa.
