Paris Saint-Germain's latest addition Lucas Digne has revealed his hopes of winning Ligue 1 with his new club.
The 19-year-old joined the French champions from Lille on Wednesday for a fee rumoured to be around €15m.
After coming through the youth academy, he played in 49 league matches for Lille and is clearly held in high regard by the national selectors - he has represented France at every youth level and was a star of Les Blues' U20 World Cup campaign earlier this year.
Speaking in an interview with his new club, Digne said: "There are some really big stars in the team and I can't wait to play alongside the likes on Thiago Silva, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Blaise Mayuidi and Edinson Cavani."
He added: "You progress faster when you're rubbing shoulders with great players. When you sign for the French champions, you have to defend your crown. That will be one of the objectives."
The left-back is regarded as one of the world's most promising young defenders and alongside his clearly ambitious attitude, he could go on to become a household name in European football like his aforementioned team-mates.
Digne's ambitions of PSG retaining their Ligue 1 crown could prove realistic after Les Parisiens' acquisition of Napoli hitman Edinson Cavani.
The Uruguay forward partnered with Zlatan Ibrahimovic creates a fearsome strike-force and with this threat in front of goal, the title could well be returning to Parc des Princes.
