Manchester United have been put on alert over Juventus star Mirko Vucinic, according to reports.
The Daily Express claims the Montenegro international has said he might have to leave the Serie ‘A’ champions in search of first team football, following the arrival of Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente this summer.
Vucinic has become disillusioned at the Juventus Stadium, the paper claims, after manager Antonio Conte revealed the striker might not be an automatic selection.
But, the Old Lady won’t let the 29-year-old leave on the cheap, according to the report, with the club demanding at least £13million for the player.
Manchester United aren’t the only club interested in Vucinic however, with both AC Milan and Zenit St Petersburg also reported to be keen on the player.
Were the Red Devils able to land the player, it would add some additional depth to the attack, as David Moyes looks to cement his options ahead of the new season.
Wayne Rooney has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford, and Vucinic could serve as a replacement for the England star if he does leave Manchester United. The club have thus far denied that the player will leave, however.
