Left centre-back: Giorgio Chiellini (Juventus & Italy)

Has played a lot of positions in his career, starting off as a central-midfielder and left-winger. When he joined Juventus from Fiorentina in 2005, Chiellini was a left-back, but since then he has proven himself to be one of the best centre-backs in the world.

The 28-year-old defender's most recognisable achievement is being a major part in Juventus' unbeaten domestic campaign in the 2011/12 season.

Giorgio has made 63 appearances for country over nine years.

Giorgio is not just your typical 'brick-wall' defender, he's very intelligent. He reads the game exceptionally well and intercepts many passes from the opposition which stops them from creating chances against the Serie A giants.

I cannot see a flaw in Chiellini's game, he's good with the ball, he's fast, strong and can score a goal.
